This series focuses on the intimate relationship between human beings and the natural world. It is a symbiotic relationship where both depend on each other for survival including not only for the fulfillment of physical needs but also for nurturing a deeper emotional connection with each other.

Treating nature as sacred, nourishing, and familial (evidenced by popular metaphors of ‘mother-nature’) has historically been predominant in indigenous cultures. However, in the postmodern world, this is rapidly being lost through man’s colonization over nature. The disregard of this intimate relationship with nature has resulted in the drastic consequences of climate change and natural disasters.

This series explores questions regarding the state of this relationship and how we can move on to the path of healing. Do you love the earth? Do you think the earth loves you back? These are basic questions that are instinctively felt in childhood but are easily forgotten with the passage of time and with the gaining of power. This series explores regaining that childlike wonder and curiosity about the natural world.
